NEW MADRID COUNTY, Mo. (KFVS) - The U.S. Geological Survey reported a magnitude 2.3 earthquake in southeast Missouri early Thanksgiving morning.
According to the USGS preliminary report , it happened just after 4 a.m. on Thursday, November 27.
It was recorded about 4.9 miles southeast of Marston, 27.9 miles west of Union City, Tenn. and 28.4 miles south of Sikeston.
According to the report, it had a depth of 8 kilometers.
