The Boston Bruins picked up a 3-1 road win over the New York Islanders on Wednesday.
Boston ended its four-game road trip having been 1-2-0, and was looking to end on a high note. The Bruins trailed 1-0 early, before Alex Steeves tied it up not even two minutes later.
Tanner Jeannot then scored the lone goal in the second period, while Steeves scored short-handed for his second goal of the game in the third period. Steeves’ multi-goal game proved to be the difference, and he was happy he was able to contribute to the win.
