Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Ben Skowronek is battling a shoulder injury that forced him to miss practice on Wednesday. Skowronek played a season-high 26 snaps against the Chicago Bears and did not come out of that unscathed.
Head coach Mike Tomlin mentioned that Skowronek would be limited to start the week with the injury, which generally points to the issue being minor enough to where he should be able to play, though that is not for certain.
If Skowronek could not play, the Steelers would lose a physical presence as a blocker and a critical special teamer who has helped fill in the blanks once Miles Killebrew was lost for the season with a serious knee injury.
