AVALON, Pa. —

An investigation is underway after an early morning fire at a home in Avalon, Allegheny County.

Firefighters were called to the home on Marie Avenue around 6:30 a.m. Advertisement

According to the fire chief, the family made it out safely and no injuries have been reported.

There is no word on what started the fire, but the Allegheny County Fire Marshal is investigating.
