BEAUFORT, S.C. (WTOC) - The City of Beaufort is asking for your help in determining the future of their historic Waterfront Park.

They are asking Beaufort residents and visitors to fill out a community survey.

The promenade area of the waterfront has been closed for a little over four months, after officials found several structural concerns with the relieving platform.

Engineers presented the city with eight possible options to repair it and now the city has dwindled that list down to three .

Designs are still being drawn for the three ideas and they will be presented and discussed at a public meeting next month.

The community survey is already available for people to fill out and will be live until mid-January.
