Arne Slot has revealed that four Liverpool stars could be in contention to face West Ham this weekend.
The Reds were without first-choice goalkeeper Alisson Becker, £115million summer signing Florian Wirtz and centre-back Joe Gomez for the heavy 4-1 defeat by PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League on Wednesday, as the Premier League champions slumped to a ninth defeat in 12 games.
Striker Hugo Ekitike also picked up a knock in the shock loss.
The pressure has mounted on Slot, who finds his side 12th in the table and out of the automatic qualification places in Europe.
The Dutchman quelled any rumours of his potential sacking at his pre-match press conference ahead of the Merseysiders’ trip to east London, announcing that he had spoken with the owners about his position.
