Test results show 18.7% of Fulton County students passed the Mathematics portion of the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR) in the 2023-24 school year, according to the Illinois State Board of Education .

The number of Fulton County students who succeeded rose by 1.2% compared to the previous school year.

Monroe County had the highest success rate across the state, with 50.0% of its students passing the Mathematics portion of the IAR. Schools in Alexander County, on the other hand, performed the worst, with 97.1% of students failing to meet test requirements.
