Oleksandr Usyk's wish will come true when his training partner, Yaroslav Amosov, makes his UFC debut.

In June, boxing's undefeated three-belt world heavyweight champion Usyk pleaded with UFC CEO Dana White to give Amosov a contract in his promotion .

Usyk had been doing the rounds with Amosov in preparation for his fight with Daniel Dubois , which ended with the latter flat on his back in the fifth round of their main event at Wembley Stadium.

“This is a future UFC world champion, Dana, please, send [the] contract — I’m serious," Usyk said.

Well, just five months later, Amosov has now been booked to make his UFC debut on the promotion's final card of 2025.
