Edmonton homeowners are a happy lot, according to a new survey. The study by national realty firm Zoocasa leveraged the findings of the recent 2025 Leger Happiness Index that ranks Canadian cities on a scale of 0 to 100 with Edmonton ranking seventh among major municipalities with a score of 66.3.

Then, Zoocasa looked at the average price in each city and divided it by the Leger score to determine how much they pay per happiness point.

Edmonton ranked among the second lowest among the 10 markets in the Zoocasa study with an average cost per point of $6,289, based on an average home cost of $417,000.
