Bayern Munich announced on Wednesday that TJ Parker left the club, and that Gordon Herbert is returning to the Bavarian bench after missing several previous games.

Herbert will also receive significant reinforcement as Josh Oppenheimer becomes the new assistant coach for Bayern.

Oppenheimer has spent his entire coaching career as an assistant. For the first 10 years, he worked in America at colleges, and he made his NBA debut with the Milwaukee Bucks , where he worked from 2013 to 2016.

He worked for a year with the Houston Rockets and returned to the Milwaukee bench in 2020, where he worked until 2024. He served as an assistant for the Greek national team in 2022 and since 2024 has been part of the coaching staff at the NCAA college Oklahoma Sooners.
