Syracuse, N.Y. — Section III’s best winter girls volleyball teams will be looking to pick up right where they left off when the 2025-26 season gets underway within the next few days.

Defending Class A champion Rome Free Academy leads the way in the No. 1 spot in syracuse.com’s preseason poll. A pair of teams that were perfect last year trail close behind, with C winner Beaver River and D champion Cincinnatus locked into the Nos. 2 and 3 positions, respectively.

Class A runner-up New Hartford lands at No. 4, one slot above B Cinderella Holland Patent.

Syracuse.com’s weekly girls volleyball poll will be revealed on Thursdays through the end of sectionals.
