Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R) took a sudden jab at Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) during a discussion about the future of the Democratic Party.

During an appearance on Fox News late Monday, McCarthy took sharp aim at Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-Calif.), who has emerged as a leading critic of President Donald Trump . Swalwell was recently referred to the Justice Department for a potential federal criminal probe related to mortgage fraud allegations.
