DULUTH, Minn. — A holiday hotspot on Minnesota's north shore is back in business after it was damaged by a high-powered winter storm.

Bentleyville , a massive village of light and sound located on Duluth's lakefront, was forced to remain closed on Wednesday as crews performed necessary repairs in the wake of Tuesday's storm , which unleashed wind gusts approaching 45 mph. Signs and lights were knocked down, display frames and posts snapped in half, and other parts of the display were impacted.

Owners of the business sent out a release saying team members and volunteers worked to repair displays, restore pathways, and ensure the grounds are safe for guests. It was determined that Bentleyville is now ready for visitors and will be open Thanksgiving night from 5 to 9 p.m.
