WINNEBAGO, Neb. (KTIV) - The Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska is supporting one of their own at this year’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
On Thursday, Nov. 27, 7-year-old Wambli “Baby Wam” Dolezal of Winnebago joined Native Pride Productions to dance at this year’s Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade® in New York City.
“At such a young age, he will be representing the Bear Clan and his Ho-Chunk, Dakota, Apache, and Omaha relatives on a global stage,” said the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska.
According to Native Pride Productions on Facebook, Wambli is one of their youngest dancers to take the stage.
“This will be his first time dancing in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade® and he’s both excited and proud to take part in such an important moment," said Native Pride Productions. “He knows how meaningf
