East Maricopa, your shopping dreams are about to come true.

Fry’s Marketplace is working to build a second location in the city, this time away from the main strip on the northwest corner of Farrell and White-and-Parker Roads, according to public records released yesterday to InMaricopa .

Once Aldi is finished and this project wins approval, Maricopa would gain its fifth standalone grocery store.

What we know: Developers said they “submitted a development review permit application to develop 24 acres … as a Fry’s Marketplace anchored commercial development.” And InMaricopa ’s previous reporting stated the grocery store would measure about 121,000 square feet, have an associated fuel station and 725 parking spaces.

What we don’t know: No other businesses were name
