SPOKANE, Wash. — Enjoy Thanksgiving today, because on Black Friday, the holiday season kicks off in downtown Spokane.
It's already looking very festive down in downtown Spokane with lights and decorations already in place.
And this year, we have both some old and new holiday traditions for families to enjoy.
One of those cherished traditions is at the Davenport Hotel. The fun starts on Friday, November 28 at 4 p.m. when Santa visits, and then at 6 p.m. is the magical tree lighting ceremony that transforms the davenport into a winter wonderland.
A new event this year is the Kendall Yards Winter Festival. It gets started Friday night, with events planned throughout December.
Also new this year is the Scale House Market is hosting the first-ever winter market at the quarry. Shoppers
