FLORENCE, Ariz. (KVOA) - The Pinal County Air Quality Control District (PCAQCD) is set to hold a public hearing to gather input on proposed changes to local air quality regulations. These revisions aim to align fees with the Consumer Price Index to prevent funding erosion and ensure the air program can maintain its operational costs and meet public health goals.

The proposed changes will adjust the annual fee for Title V and Non-Title V air quality permits. Stakeholder outreach will occur before final adoption to address any public concerns.

The public comment period opens on Thursday, November 27, 2025, and concludes at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, December 30, 2025. An oral proceeding/public hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, December 30, 2025. Details on participation are available on the PCAQCD
