A woman who was injured during a hit-and-run crash earlier this month has died from her injuries, Long Beach police announced.
At 12:28 a.m. on Nov. 13, officers responded to the area of Pacific Coast Highway and Maine Avenue regarding a traffic collision involving the woman and a vehicle, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
An unspecified vehicle struck the woman in the roadway. Following the collision, the vehicle fled the scene. The suspect and suspect vehicle information were under investigation, police said.
The LBPD was notified of her death on Tuesday. She was identified as Brandy Jackson, 46.
