PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A 10-year-old girl is spending Thanksgiving in the hospital after a fire ripped through a mobile home in Phoenix.

The fire started at the home in the area of 30th Avenue and Van Buren Street around 10:45 a.m., and the girl was there by herself. Witnesses saved her from the flames, firefighters said.

Investigators said they don’t know where her parents or guardians are.

The girl was taken to the hospital but is expected to be OK.

The house fire was bumped up to a first alarm call, which brought more firefighters, equipment and resources to the scene. Fire crews said they contained the flames to one mobile home. The fire has forced three people to stay somewhere else.

No firefighters were hurt.

It’s unclear what sparked the flames.
