The UK is bracing for another cold snap as an Arctic blast over the weekend is set to see temperatures plummet to -5C. According to the latest weather models collated by WX Charts, parts of Britain are set for a very chilly start to December as the mercury on November 30 drops into negatives when a freeze sweeps across the UK - edging as far south as London.

Much of the icy weather will remain in Scotland and the north of England, with areas in the Highlands and Aberdeen reaching lows of -5C, but with much of the region sinking to -2C as the blast sweeps across the country.
