CROSBY — Josiah Reier scored one goal and dished one assist for the Northern Lakes Lightning in a 4-4 tie with the Pine City Dragons on Saturday, Nov. 22, at the Hallett Center.

Huck Balmer, Landon Cartie and Waylon Katterhagen all scored goals for the Lightning.

Sam Suja recorded 37 saves.

"The positive was the way we played the second period. When down 2-1 we scored 3 to go up 4-2," said Coach Tom Klein. "However, two Pine City power play goals in the third resulted in the 4-4 tie. I believe two games in 19 hours was a lot this early in the season."

Northern Lakes, 1-1 overall, traveled to Duluth Marshall on Tuesday, Nov. 25, where they lost 6-1, and will face Totino-Grace at Brooklyn Park on Saturday, Nov. 29.
