Brad Gushue’s final season of competitive curling will not include more Olympic glory for the sport’s Rock star.

The two-time Games medallist and reigning trials king was eliminated from contention for a third Olympic berth on the final shot of round-robin action at the 2025 Montana’s Canadian Curling Trials presented by Connect Hearing.

That late Wednesday loss left the Newfoundland and Labrador legend, who’s calling it quits at the end of the season, no chance for gold at either this qualifier or the 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Italy.
