TOWN OF COTTAGE GROVE, Wis. -- A driver died Thursday morning after a crash with a semi in the Town of Cottage Grove, the Dane County Sheriff's Office said.

The crash was reported just after 9 a.m. near the intersection of County Highways N and MN. According to the Dane County Sheriff's Office, a vehicle and a semi were involved.

The driver of the vehicle died at the scene. Information about them, including their name, age and gender, was being withheld pending the notification of their family.

The crash remains under investigation.
