BOISE, Idaho — The Boise Holiday Parade will take over downtown streets on Saturday, Nov. 29. The annual holiday parade begins at 10 a.m. and is expected to run until noon.

Road closures in preparation for the parade will begin at 6:30 a.m. that morning. Jefferson Street and Bannock Street will be closed from 13th Street to 3rd Street, according to Ada County Highway District. 12th Street through 14th Street will be closed between Bannock and Jefferson Street.

The route begins at Jefferson and 10th Street. Paradegoers are encouraged to bring their families and something to sit on like a blanket or chairs in order to enjoy the festivities.

If traveling in the downtown area, pedestrians and drivers should plan for alternate routes and keep an eye out for paradegoers. The road closures
