A woman died Wednesday after she was struck by a car in southwest Calgary the week before
Fourteen people have died from vehicle collisions in 2025, according to Calgary police.
The statistic was released on Wednesday following a report of a woman who died after she was struck by a car in southwest Calgary.

The woman, who was in her 30s, was crossing Macleod Trail westbound, south of the 99th Avenue S.W. intersection, outside of the marked crosswalk at around 9:15 p.m. on Nov. 21.
At around the same time, a 30-year-old woman was driving a 2014 Hyundai Elantra with a 60-year-old woman as a passenger. She entered the same intersection on a green light and struck the pedestrian.
