The banged-up Detroit Lions didn’t need long to rule out star wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown for the rest of Thursday’s Thanksgiving game against the Green Bay Packers.

Amon-Ra St. Brown suffered an ankle injury on a run-blocking play in the first half of Thursday’s pivotal game at Ford Field, when one of his teammates accidentally ran into his foot.

During the third quarter, the Lions announced that St. Brown was ruled out for the remainder of the game with his ankle injury.

St. Brown had been targeted once by Jared Goff before the injury. Per Pro Football Reference, he caught 75 passes for 884 yards and nine touchdowns over his first 11 games this season.
