Before she shot to fame as part of her Channel 5 series alongside her family including her nine children, Amanda Owen appeared on a BBC documentary
She might be known now as the Yorkshire Shepherdess, but Amanda Owen is unrecognisable in her first ever TV appearance from 17 years ago.
Appearing as Amanda Livingstone-Owen, the Yorkshire farmer looks a world away from what we know her as today. With a baby in a carrier on her chest and her long hair swept back, she greets Julia Bradbury at Ravenseat Farm during an episode of Wainright Walks: Coast to Coast.
The series focuses on nature walks and sees Julia reach the Yorkshire Dales, meeting with Amanda who brings out tea and coffee as part of a cream tea service.
The episode focuses on Julia travelling across the Eden Valley, as well
