To the world’s tallest hockey player, Alexander Karmanov, we barely got to know you.
Arriving in Brantford after being selected in the third round (137th overall) of the CHL Import Draft earlier this year by the Brantford Bulldogs, the seven-foot-one, 280-pound defenceman skated in training camp and exhibition games with the OHL club before being assigned to the Greater Ontario Hockey League’s Brantford Titans.
With three imports on their roster, the Bulldogs released Karmanov and after 15 games with the Titans that included three goals and four assists, he’s on the move again, signing this week with the OHL’s North Bay Battalion.
