DICKSON CITY, Pa. — First responders provided free Thanksgiving dinners in Lackawanna County .
Eagle Hose Company in Dickson City opened its doors this afternoon.
Anyone who needed a meal could come and sit down to eat, no questions asked.
"They, they come to eat because sometimes this is all the people they see. They might be living alone, you know, in some of the apartments, and they all drive down together, and some of them will take food back to the people who can't make it in," said Judie Senkow-Richards, organizer. "It's a very important Holiday, it's a gratitude holiday, and I'm grateful for this."
Folks didn't go home empty-handed. They were able to take some to-go bags here in Lackawanna County.
