AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Seven teams are still alive in the state title race across CSRA gridirons.
Thanksgiving morning usually means sleeping in and saving room for turkey, but for several CSRA playoff football teams, the holiday tradition hits a little different.
Instead of carving birds, they’re carving out one more week of football.
This week, Strom Thurmond has a chance to close out their season undefeated at home by punching a ticket to state in SCHSL 2A.
