TAMPA, Fla (WFLA) — Without this meal, the Norris family said they don’t know what they would’ve done for Thanksgiving.
“But having a family, it makes it more difficult because my daughter … has always been around, and she can tell you it’s always been a struggle to know if we’re going to have food on the table or not,” said Mia Norris.
Their family, and others, were greeted and served with smiles from Feeding Tampa Bay Volunteers on Thursday. The organization planned to serve 1,500 families across multiple locations, and 600 at the new Causeway Boulevard location.
President and CEO Thomas Mantz said they wanted to put together a thoughtful experience.
