BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KERO) — A 37-year-old Bakersfield man was arrested for murder after a woman was found dead from apparent gunshot wounds at a residence Wednesday night.

The Bakersfield Police Department responded to a home in the 6200 block of Tallulah Falls Court at approximately 9:23 p.m. on November 26th for a possible shooting. Officers found an adult female dead at the scene from gunshot wounds.

Shortly after, officers responded to a vehicle collision at the intersection of Hageman Road and Calloway Drive. Police determined the crash was related to the death investigation on Tallulah Falls Court.

The intersection was temporarily closed but has since reopened with no further traffic disruptions expected.

During the investigation, detectives arrested Manuel Robles, 37, of Bakers
