ST. THOMAS, U.S. VIRGIN ISLANDS — The UND women's basketball team had a rough shooting performance Thursday afternoon.
The Fighting Hawks shot 0-for-18 from beyond the arc against Boise State at the UVI Sports and Fitness Center, opening the Paradise Jam with a 65-45 loss to the Broncos.
The Hawks shot 32.6% from the field and finished with 23 turnovers.
Boise State, on the other hand, shot 45% from the field. The Broncos were led by senior forward Tatum Thompson and senior guard Dani Bayes, who scored 16 and 15 points, respectively.
Graduate guard Mackenzie Hughes was the only Hawk to score in double figures, finishing with 15 points.
