JONESBORO, Ga. — The fiancé' of a young man killed while working at a motel in Jonesboro said he was just simply doing his job.
The shooting happened at the Live In Lodge - Extended Stay at 8240 Tara Boulevard.
Jonesboro Police Chief C.E. Cato said his officers responded to reports of gunfire on Sunday. When officers arrived, they found, Yoqoubie Yarabough, 29, with at least one gunshot wound.

Yarabough's fiancé said he was sent to a guest's room at the motel to ask someone in the room to leave the property.
He said the man refused leave and Yarabough explained he was just doing his job. The situation escalated, and Yarabough ended up losing his life.
