WASHINGTON COUNTY, Pa. —
Pennsylvania State Police said they are responding to "two serious crashes" on I-70 and I-79 in Washington County on Thanksgiving night. The coroner has been called to I-79.

"Washington is handling two serious crashes. One on I-70 just west of the north junction and the other on I-79 at the south junction," Trooper Rocco Gagliardi told Pittsburgh's Action News 4. State police are asking drivers to avoid both areas if possible.
A social media post by South Strabane Fire Department also asked drivers to avoid I-79, saying, "We are working multiple incidents due to roadways being iced over. Further update to follow."
