NATIONAL SUMMARY
Lake-effect snow showers and snow squalls will again impact
portions of the Great Lakes and Northeast tomorrow. Snow
squalls are most likely downwind of the lakes, where
whiteout conditions can occur as well as travel difficulty.
Aside from the snow, high winds will also persist across
this region, especially near the lakes. Snow will fall from
Montana into Iowa, which can impact holiday shopping plans
given that streets and sidewalks can become snow-packed and
slippery. Otherwise, it will be cold across the Midwest. The
air will be cool even through the Southeast, where it will
be sunny and dry. It will be largely dry in the West, except
for a few snow and rain showers in the northern reaches. The
