KISSIMMEE, Fla. – BYU basketball guard Kennard Davis is returning to action on Thanksgiving Day against Miami.
Davis, a junior transfer from Southern Illinois, missed the past two games due to a suspension. BYU classified the suspension as a “violation of team rules.”

BYU issued a statement on Thursday, “After serving a two-game suspension, Kennard Davis will return to the BYU lineup for the Terry’s Chocolate ESPN Events Invitational.”
Back on November 13, Davis was arrested by the Provo Police Department for misdemeanor DUI charge and possession of marijuana . The Deseret News reported that Davis pleaded not guilty .
