During her childhood in Hertfordshire, Beckham reportedly felt like an outsider because she was bullied and treated like a loner at school.

"I was awkward, I wasn't particularly sociable, I just didn't fit in at all. But when you're onstage, for that moment, you're somebody else … I desperately wanted to be liked," she said in the documentary.
