CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - People with nowhere else to go this holiday season received meals across Northeast Ohio on Thursday as Catholic Charities continued its annual Thanksgiving tradition.

The organization served around 12,000 meals both in-person and through delivery from its location at St. Augustine, where volunteers filled the basement with the preparation and serving of hot Thanksgiving platters.

“With food insecurity continuing to grow, continuing to rise, we’re always seeing an uptick,” said Terrance Ray, communications director for Catholic Charities.
