OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - The holiday season brings large meals, toys and gifts for many families, but Completely KIDS is helping those who might not be able to afford those special items for Christmas.

The nonprofit holds a holiday gift drive every year for kids in their before and after school programs according to CEO Carla Rizzo.

Rizzo said for many of the children the organization serves, a donated gift may be the only one they receive this year.

The children get to choose gifts that they would like to get and put it together on a list.

Local mom Amanda Rutherford’s kids received gifts from the drive in the past.
