UPPER CHICHESTER — It was clear from the opening kick that Chichester was on a mission Thursday.

The Eagles missed out on the playoffs and had a game or two on the schedule that they would have loved to have back. But Thursday morning it was all about Sun Valley and the 57th annual Turkey Bowl.

Chichester did not disappoint its home fans, a driven and determined squad hammering the Vanguards 33-0 in a complete effort that left head coach Chris Craig extremely satisfied.

“I’m proud (of the result), but I’m more proud of the way our kids stayed focused and locked in since the last regular season game,” Craig said. ‘They circled this date on the calendar.
