A man was in critical condition following a shooting in Rochester Hills on Thursday, said the Oakland County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies responded to the 1300 block of Rochdale Court just after 4 a.m. Thursday and found a 44-year-old Detroit man bleeding outside of a condominium, according to a release from the Sheriff's Office. He was treated at the scene and taken to a local hospital.

Two men have been arrested in the case, the Sheriff's Office said. One person is from Rochester Hills and the other is from Detroit. Their names and ages, and the name of the victim have not been released.

The Sheriff's Office said deputies recovered a semi-automatic handgun. The shooting "may have been the result of a domestic dispute," the release said.

The shooting remains under investigation.
