IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) - Players and coaches expect another tight contest in the annual Pioneer Heroes Game
The Iowa-Nebraska rivalry game is set to continue its tradition of close contests, with both teams preparing for what could be another one-score game.
“We’re here to complete a mission and people don’t want us to succeed. So just knowing that gives us a boost of energy,” said running back Moulton.
For some players, including quarterback Mark Gronowski, this will be their first experience in the rivalry game.
“In prior years, this has always been a bye week for me. So, I’ve always been able to watch rivalry week. Iowa and Nebraska was one that I always watched because knew it was a close game and it was always going to be a fun watch. So I’m finally excited to be in it and go play
