ISLAMABAD/KARACHI:
The country's lower house of parliament and the Provincial Assembly of Sindh on Thursday passed unanimous resolutions condemning Indian Defence Minister Rajnath Singh recent statements on Sindh, stating that Sindh is an inseparable part of Pakistan.
The National Assembly session, chaired by Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, saw PPP MNA Aslam Alam Niazi present a resolution condemning Rajnath Singh's remarks.
The resolution rejected the statements, adding that the statements did not reflect the constitutional or geopolitical realities of the region.
The house reaffirmed that Sindh is an integral part of the sovereign state of Pakistan and its status is fully protected under the Constitution and recognised at both national and international levels.
