Mariners sign free agent pitcher who keeps playing in MLB at 38 years old
The Seattle Mariners just signed one of MLB's oldest free agents.
According to Just Baseball's Aram Leighton , the Mariners have signed right-handed pitcher Casey Lawrence.
Lawrence is the definition of a journeyman. He's 38 years old.
Overall, Lawrence has pitched in 65 MLB games and has a career 6.42 ERA.

He originally entered pro baseball as an undrafted player out of small Albright College in Reading, Pennsylvania.
Lawrence first made his MLB debut in 2017 with the Toronto Blue Jays . He threw four games with Toronto that season, then joined the Mariners for 23 more games.
