This week has been interesting for Delta Air Lines. On Tuesday, November 25, Delta flight DL3570 was met by firetrucks after it diverted back to Detroit while over Ohio after declaring an emergency en route to Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport. On the same day, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, Delta's busiest hub, faced a complete ground stop due to thunderstorms, which temporarily halted all flights.
However, yet again in the same week, Delta experienced another emergency turnaround, this time while flying from Paris to Minneapolis on flight DL153 . Fortunately for passengers and crew, the pilots noticed the problem early on, and, following their assessment, decided to turn back before flying across the Atlantic.
