NORMAN — OU could be without its starting center Saturday against LSU.

Offensive lineman Jake Maikkula was downgraded from questionable to doubtful on Thursday's SEC availability report. The Sooners ' depth at center was already slim after Troy Everett's season-ending knee injury earlier this season.

Defensive end R Mason Thomas was listed as out and will miss his third consecutive game. He injured himself during a 71-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown in the first quarter of OU's win over Tennessee on Nov. 1.
