November marks Alzheimers Awareness Month, a time dedicated to shining a light on a disease that affects thousands of families across Montana.

Here, during the holidays, when families come together to share memories, laughter, and long-held traditions, those living with Alzheimers may experience this season very differently, but a speech pathologist at St. Peters Health in Helena is helping families find connection amidst the changes.

I do what I do because I love helping people and being a part of their journey, said Kathy Aasved, a speech language pathologist at St. Peters Health.
