ARLINGTON, Texas -- With five games remaining in the 2025 season, the Cowboys have climbed above the .500 mark for the first time this season with their third straight victory, defeating the Kansas City Chiefs 31-28 on Thanksgiving Day.
Dallas' defense continues their improvement from the bye week with their additions of Quinnen Williams and Jadeveon Clowney earlier in the year paying off. Even though they gave up 362 yards to Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs offense, the came up with timely stops to allow Dak Prescott and the Cowboys counter with 457 yards of their own.
After a 3-5-1 start to the season, suddenly, the postseason can become a reality again for the Cowboys, but there's still plenty of work that needs to be done in the coming weeks.
