RACELAND, Ky. (WYMT) - In the KHSAA Class A State Semifinals, Pikeville heads to Raceland.
The Panthers hosted Raceland on Sept. 5 , coming back from a 21-point deficit at the half and winning, 35-27.
“That was kind of a wild game,” said Pikeville Head Coach Chris Mcnamee. “We know that we can’t come out as slow as we did last time. That was a great game and we are looking forward to a great game again.”
Pikeville is coming off of a 42-14 win against Middlesboro in the State Quarterfinals.
“I feel like our run game is getting better,” stated McNamee. “I think up front we’ve gotten a bit better. Jayden Justice had a heck of a game last week. Defensively being able to keep them limited on some of their touchdowns and big plays and that’s the same thing we have to do this week.”
